Etsy transaction fee

Transaction Fee = 6.5% x (Item Subtotal + Buyer Shipping + Gift Wrap)

Sales tax is not included in this calculator's transaction fee base because the verified rule represented here covers the item cost plus buyer-paid shipping and gift wrap.

Etsy listing fee

Listing Fee = Quantity x $0.20, when listing fees are included. This is an estimated allocation because real listing and renewal charges depend on how the item was listed, renewed, or sold from multi-quantity inventory.

Etsy Payments processing fee

US Etsy Payments Fee = 3% + $0.25 of the payment processing base. In this calculator, that base is item subtotal, buyer shipping, gift wrap, and applicable sales tax.

Estimated seller proceeds

Estimated Seller Proceeds = Seller Transaction Subtotal - Etsy Fees. Seller transaction subtotal excludes marketplace-remitted sales tax, so tax is not subtracted from seller proceeds twice.
